About This Course

2020 has given us an important lesson: if there is one skill that is important in today’s business arena it is the ability to quickly adjust to new situations. Knowing which direction is the right direction to adjust into is the hardest bit. Design thinking provides you with a toolkit to build out a compass that will guide this or any other problem solving process: starting with what people need.

The reality of our world is very simple: people don’t want to buy your specific products, they just have a problem they are trying to solve. Those who learn how to work backwards from customer pain points, by first understanding them and then aligning their organisations towards the users, will be the only successful companies in the new digital era.

World’s leading and most profitable brands, such as Amazon, Toyota, Apple, Google, Samsung, Starbucks, Nike, Netflix, and GE, have rapidly adopted the Design Thinking approach. The design thinking process can be strategically implemented across various industries to solve complex problems, develop new products and services. Hence, upskilling the workforce with design thinking and problem-solving skills is not an option for companies; it’s a necessity during these unprecedented times.

Learn the main principles and methods of the most famous user-centred innovation methodology Design Thinking, apply these methods directly to your current situation, team, project or organisation in order to rethink your product portfolio – what stays, what goes, what needs to be reinvented.
